Mike Kotubey


As president, Mike is responsible for the overall operations, strategic direction and profitability of Links Construction LLC, a Denton, TX based Construction Manager / General Contractor.  Mike recently joined Links bringing more than 30 years of health care, commercial, institutional and industrial construction experience to our team.


Throughout his career, Mike has held leadership positions in sales, engineering, project management, operations management, general management and at the executive level. Prior to joining Links, Mike was responsible for the operations of the largest division of one of the nation’s top specialty contractors. He has overseen both local and remote field, office, engineering & design, and manufacturing operations across the United States.  Over the years, Mike has established himself as a thought leader in the industry and has also held executive positions with numerous professional and civic associations. In those leadership roles, he has frequently been a featured speaker at local and national events on a variety of industry-related topics such as Lean Construction, Strategic Planning, Project Planning and Fabrication / Modular Construction. Mike is nationally recognized for his expertise and leadership in lean construction through the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America and the Lean Construction Institute (LCI) where he served as co-founder of the Kansas City Community of Practice (COP) and was Past President of the Dallas COP.  Mike also chaired LCI’s National Research Committee.  Mike started his Lean Journey in the mid-80’s when he first embraced off-fabrication of mechanical systems and is recognized as an industry leader in implementing innovative fabrication and modularization concepts on large institutional, health care and commercial projects.
